Return & Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident shopping with Auto Rescue Tools. If your order isn’t quite right, we're here to help with a simple return process.

Return Window

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unopened/sealed, unregistered, and in their original packaging with all included components.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Items showing signs of use, customization, or damage may not be eligible for a full refund.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, email us at returns@autorescuetools.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll respond with:

  • A return authorization confirmation
  • Instructions on where to send your package
  • A prepaid return label (shipping cost deducted from your refund)

Important: Please contact us before returning an item, as some returns cannot be sent to our PO Box. Items sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defect, etc.). We recommend using a trackable shipping service for secure delivery.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. This fee helps cover inspection, repackaging, and processing costs.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and considered final sale:

  • Immobilizer tools and products involving security access
  • Software licenses, tool updates, or digital items
  • Custom-built laptops or special-order equipment
  • Key cutters, programmers, key blades, remotes, smart keys
  • Any and All Xhorse products
  • Hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or final sale items

All international orders, including shipments to Canada, or use of forwarding services, are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or refund. 

We strongly recommend reviewing product compatibility and specifications before purchase. Please contact us with any questions before ordering. 

If you're unsure about your item's eligibility, please contact us before initiating a return.

Exchanges

We do not process exchanges. If you need a different product, return your item (if eligible), and place a new order.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome:

  • If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Processing times may vary based on your bank or card provider.

If it’s been more than 15 business days since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at returns@autorescuetools.com.
