What does TCP cover for the Autel MaxiSys Ultra S2?
TCP is a 1-year renewable subscription covering three benefits: software updates to maintain current vehicle coverage, tool function upgrades, and extended hardware warranty coverage. All three apply to the Autel MaxiSys Ultra S2.
What happens when TCP lapses on the Autel MaxiSys Ultra S2?
Software updates for new model year coverage and tool function upgrades stop accumulating. Warranty coverage under the TCP extension also ends when the subscription lapses.
Can I renew early or buy multiple years?
Yes. Each renewal adds 365 days to your current expiration date — renewing before it expires does not forfeit unused time. Multiple years can be purchased at once; each year adds sequentially from your existing expiration date.
How do I activate my TCP renewal?
Two paths are available. Browser: log in at pro.autel.com, select Redeem, choose your tool, enter the activation code, verify the serial number, and click OK — then restart the tool. Tablet: open the MaxiSys menu on the tool, go to Update > Renew > TCP Renewal. Region verification is required for the browser path.
Do I need AutoAuth separately from TCP?
Yes. AutoAuth access requires both an active TCP subscription and a separate AutoAuth account subscription. TCP alone does not grant or maintain AutoAuth access. Both must remain current for secure gateway (SGW) access to continue.
